Quality and customer service are our highest priorities. If something isn’t right, we’ll sort it quickly.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in this guide excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and to a repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality. This manufacturer warranty sits in addition to those rights.
Our manufacturer warranty (DNB)
- Coverage: Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
- Period: 3 months from the invoice date.
- Remedy: We’ll repair or replace the item. If repair is not possible or reasonable, we’ll offer a replacement or refund (see ACL above).
Examples of what’s covered
- Seams unravel due to faulty stitching
- Buttons/snaps that fail prematurely
- Fabric defects present at purchase (weave faults, holes)
- Faulty zips/press studs
What’s not covered (normal exclusions)
- Wear & tear from regular use (abrasion, fading, fraying over time)
- Damage from misuse, accidents or improper care (e.g., chemical exposure, heat damage, not following care label)
- Alterations or modifications after purchase
- Custom/embroidered items where the issue relates to approved artwork, placement approved by you, or thread colour approved in proofs (manufacturing faults in the garment itself are still covered)
- Pilling, shrinkage or colour transfer consistent with fabric properties and care instructions
- Damage caused by third-party services (e.g., external embroidery/printing, after-market patches)
How to make a warranty claim

Contact us first: sales@dustnboots.com (include order number, photos/video, and a short description).

Assessment: Our team reviews your info, sometimes we’ll ask you to return the item for inspection.

Return label: If the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect, we’ll provide a prepaid return label. If not, you can still send it back at your cost for assessment.

Outcome: We’ll confirm repair, replacement or refund in line with this warranty and the ACL.
Turnaround: We aim to assess within 2–5 business days of receiving your parcel. Repairs usually take 5–10 business days.
Repairs first policy
Where reasonable, we prioritise a professional repair so you can keep wearing your gear. If a repair isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the issue, we’ll replace the item; if the same style/size/colour isn’t available, we’ll offer a comparable substitute or a refund.
Costs & shipping
- If a manufacturing defect is confirmed: we cover reasonable return shipping and re-delivery.
- If no defect is found or the damage is outside warranty: we’ll return the item at your cost, or—if you choose—complete a paid repair (quoted first).
Out-of-warranty help
Items outside the 3-month period aren’t covered by our manufacturer warranty, but we can often arrange a paid repair. Ask us for a quote.
Proof of purchase
Please provide your order confirmation, invoice, or bank/merchant receipt so we can locate your purchase.
